====================
TERMS & CONDITIONS
====================

These Terms & Conditions (Terms) govern your purchase and use of digital products and content from The AI Choice (we, us, or our). By purchasing, downloading, or using any product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase.

Our products
We sell digital products, including eBooks, field briefs, guides, templates, and related downloadable or online content (the Products). Products are delivered electronically, by download or online access, immediately or shortly after purchase.

All sales are final
Because our Products are digital and are delivered to you immediately upon purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable. Once a Product has been delivered or made available for download or access, it cannot be returned or recalled, and no refund will be issued, except where a refund is required by applicable law. By completing your purchase, you request and consent to immediate delivery of the Product and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, you waive any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation that would otherwise apply once delivery has begun. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a Product you have received is a breach of these Terms.

License and permitted use
When you purchase a Product, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use it for your own personal or internal business use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share, or post the Product publicly, in whole or in part, without our written permission. All Products and their content remain our intellectual property and are protected by copyright and other laws.

Pricing and payment
Prices are shown at checkout and are payable in the currency stated there. Payment is processed by our third-party checkout and payment providers (for example, SamCart and Stripe) under their own terms. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already completed.

Delivery
Products are delivered electronically to the email address or account you provide at checkout. You are responsible for giving a correct email address and for being able to receive and open standard digital files. If you do not receive your Product, contact us and we will help you access it.

No professional advice; no guaranteed results
Our Products provide general information and educational content on AI governance, strategy, and related topics. They are not legal, financial, compliance, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your specific situation. We make no guarantee of any particular result or outcome from using our Products. You are responsible for how you apply the information.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Product will not exceed the amount you paid for that Product.

Acceptable use
You agree not to use our Products or services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes our rights or the rights of others.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. We will post the current version with a new effective date.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in California, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

PRIVACY POLICY
====================

The AI Choice (we, us, or our) provides AI governance guides, tools, and related digital products. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, the legal bases for processing it, and the rights you have. It is written to comply with the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR, and the UK GDPR as retained under the Data Protection Act 2018) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Our commitment: we do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We commit, permanently, never to sell personal data collected through this site or through any other site, channel, or mechanism we control. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Because we neither sell nor share personal information, there is no sale to opt out of; we honor the right in any case.

Information we collect

  • Assessment inputs you enter into our tools: job title, role type, industry, location, and company size, used to calculate your score.

  • Email address, only if and where you choose to provide it (for example, when you purchase a product or sign up for updates). Providing it is optional.

  • Technical and usage data collected automatically to operate and secure the service: a session identifier, referral and campaign parameters (UTM), basic device and browser information, and IP address.

How we use your information

  • To provide and deliver the products and tools you use or purchase.

  • To send updates you request, only where you provide your email.

  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our products.

  • To produce aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized statistics and insights (for example, score distributions by industry or region). Aggregated and anonymized data does not identify you and is not treated as personal information.

Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for sending you email and for any optional information you provide.

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) where processing is needed to fulfill a purchase you make.

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating, securing, and improving our products and in producing aggregate analytics, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
    You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.

How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (for example, our checkout/payments provider, our hosting and database provider, and our email delivery provider), under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us. We may disclose information where required by law.

International transfers
Our service and storage are based in the United States. If you access our products from the EU, EEA, UK, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.

Your rights
EU, EEA, and UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent (Arts. 15-22). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (Art. 77).

California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access and a copy, to request correction, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.

To exercise any right, contact us at support@theaichoiceplaybook.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes the applicable law requires.

Children
Our products are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or under 13 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new effective date.
